Premium Wild Chilies for Trade, Gastronomy & Connoisseurs

Wild Amazonas Chilies are rare, hand-picked peppers from the Peruvian rainforest. Intensely aromatic, naturally fiery, and bursting with wild flavor — they deliver unmatched heat and authenticity.

Our mission and our vision

Our company project offers local families a sustainable income that replaces the need for illegal gold mining and destructive logging. By cultivating native Amazonian chili varieties, communities can earn fairly without harming the forest.

Traditional agroforestry keeps the soil healthy and preserves biodiversity. Every harvest supports long-term economic stability instead of short-term exploitation . Together, we protect the rainforest by proving that nature-friendly agriculture can be both profitable and sustainable.

And you get the finest high quality, intensely aromatic, naturally fiery, and bursting chilies with wild flavor

Gold Mining

Where the search for gold begins, the forest ends. Entire landscapes are transformed into toxic pits, leaving behind silence where the jungle once roared.

Affected: 50000+ persons including their familiies

Impact: Loss of wildlife corridors and irreversible soil damage.

Timber Industry

Communities rely on the forest for timber. But without sustainable limits, every tree cut weakens the living shield that protects the Amazon.

Affected: aprox. 60-70000 persons including their familiies

Impact: Opening the canopy invites erosion, fires, and human encroachment.

Agriculture

Small farmers  and cattle breader destroy livelihoods from the rainforest. Expanded too far, these clearings break the forest’s natural balance.

Affected: aprox. 50.000 persons including their families

Impact: Reduced biodiversity and stressed ecosystems.

Who our providers are

Small amazonas rainforest comunities

We choose to work with small amazonas rainforest  communities because they are the true guardians of the rainforest and the holders of generations of agricultural knowledge. By sourcing directly from them, we support fair, stable incomes and help strengthen local economies. At the same time, traditional, small-scale cultivation protects biodiversity, avoids destructive land-use practices, and ensures that rare Amazonian crops can continue to thrive. Working together creates value for the communities, for the forest, and for you.

Hand-picked & -selected

We harvest every chili by hand to protect the delicate fruits and preserve their full aroma, color, and heat. Careful selection ensures that only perfectly ripe, undamaged peppers make it into our products.

This artisanal process takes more time, but it guarantees exceptional quality and consistency while reducing waste. Hand-picking also supports skilled local labor and maintains traditional harvesting methods that respect both the plants and the surrounding rainforest ecosystem.

Cleaned & pre-dried on site

Whenever the weather permits, our chilies are carefully cleaned and gently pre-dried directly in the communities where they are harvested. This immediate post-harvest treatment preserves freshness, stabilizes the fruits, and protects their natural aroma and color. By reducing moisture early, we also maintain higher food safety standards and minimize spoilage during transport. Processing on site adds value locally, supports community livelihoods, and ensures that every batch arrives in optimal condition for the final drying and selection steps.

About us

We are a German-Peruvian family business with a clear mission: together with the local communities of the Peruvian Amazon, we create fantastic products and sustainable sources of income – as an alternative to illegal gold mining, illegal logging, slash-and-burn practices, and the ongoing destruction of the rainforest.

Our goal is to promote economic development in the region while protecting the Amazon’s natural biodiversity for generations to come.

Only the very best is good enough. Wild Amazonas Chilies.

“For generations, our people have lived with the forest, not against it. Every tree, every river, every small chili carries the spirit of our ancestors.

But today, illegal gold mining and uncontrolled logging cut deeper wounds into our land than any storm ever has. The water that once fed our children now carries mercury. The silence of animals grows louder every year.

When you choose products that honor the rainforest — like Wild Amazonas Chilies — you help us protect what remains of our home. You give value to the forest standing, not the forest destroyed. Together, we can keep our traditions alive and ensure that our grandchildren still walk beneath the same green canopy that sheltered our grandparents.”
