Wild Amazonas Chilies specializes in fresh and dried Amazonian chili products sourced directly from local farmers.
Due to the perishable and agricultural nature of our products, returns and refunds are only possible under specific conditions, as described below.
By placing an order with us, you agree to this Refund & Returns Policy.
- No Returns on Perishable Goods
We do not accept returns on the following items:
- Fresh chilies
- Dried chilies (whole or powdered)
- Spices, condiments, or other food products
- Custom-processed products
- Export shipments already cleared by customs
This rule exists to ensure food safety, product integrity, and compliance with international phytosanitary regulations.
- Eligibility for Refunds or Replacement
Although we cannot accept product returns, you may be eligible for a refund or replacement if one of the following occurs:
3.1 Damaged Goods
If the products arrive visibly damaged, such as:
- Moisture damage
- Mold growth
- Crushing or spoilage during transport
- Contaminated packaging
3.2 Incorrect Products or Quantities
If the received order does not match the agreed:
- Product type
- Grade or specification
- Quantity or packaging
3.3 Export or Logistics Error
If a shipping or documentation error caused by us prevents delivery, we will work with the buyer to resolve the issue or offer compensation.
- Conditions for Submitting a Claim
To qualify for any refund, replacement, or compensation:
- The claim must be submitted within 3 days of receiving the goods.
- You must provide:
- Photos of the product
- Photos of packaging and shipping labels
- A detailed description of the issue
- Products must not have been:
- Stored improperly
- Repackaged
- Mixed with other batches
- Used or processed further
Claims submitted after 3 days cannot be processed.
- Investigation Process
Once we receive your claim:
- We review all provided evidence
- We may request additional details if needed
- We provide a resolution within 7 working days
Possible outcomes include:
- Partial refund
- Full refund
- Replacement shipment (depending on product availability)
- Credit toward a future order
- Cases Not Eligible for Refund
Refunds or replacements are not provided if:
- The buyer fails to follow product handling or storage guidelines
- Customs authorities in the destination country delay, seize, or reject goods
- The buyer provided incorrect shipping information
- Issues arise from regulations or import restrictions outside Peru
- The buyer changes their mind after shipment
- Quality variations occur that are natural and typical of agricultural products (e.g., small size differences, color variations)
- Shipping Costs
In approved refund or replacement cases:
- Shipping costs for replacement orders are handled on a case-by-case basis
- If the problem was caused by our team, we cover replacement shipping
- If caused by courier delays, weather, customs, or buyer error, shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility
- Export Shipments
International orders depend on third-party carriers, customs, and phytosanitary inspections.
Wild Amazonas Chilies cannot guarantee transit times or import acceptance by destination-country authorities.
We assist customers with documentation, but ultimate responsibility for import compliance lies with the buyer.
