Shipping terms depend on product availability, harvest schedules, export documentation, and the destination country’s regulations.

- Processing Time
2.1 Standard Processing
Orders are processed once payment is confirmed.
Typical processing times:
- Fresh chilies: 2–5 business days
- Dried chilies / powders: 2–7 business days
- Bulk or export orders: 7–14 business days (depending on documentation)
Processing times may vary due to:
- Weather conditions
- Harvest interruptions
- Transportation limitations in Madre de Dios
- Export permits or phytosanitary inspections
2.2 Custom or Large Orders
Large-volume or custom-processed orders may require additional time.
We will inform you about estimated timelines before confirming the order.
- Shipping Methods
We use reliable local and international carriers, depending on the destination and product type.
Domestic (Peru):
- Courier services (Shalom, Olva, etc.)
- Air cargo to major cities
- Hand delivery in Puerto Maldonado (by arrangement)
International:
- DHL
- UPS
- FEDEX
- Specialized cargo agents (for bulk shipments)
Shipping method and rates will be confirmed when the quotation is issued.
- Shipping Costs
Shipping costs depend on:

All international shipments are DDU / DAP, meaning the buyer pays:
- Import taxes

- Export Documentation
For international shipments, we provide all required export documents, including:
- Commercial invoice
- Packing list
- Phytosanitary certificate (when applicable)
- Certificate of origin (on request)
- Any additional documents required by the importing country
Export preparation time may vary due to government processing or inspections.
- Delivery Times
Delivery time depends entirely on the destination and the carrier.
Approximate times:
- South America: 3–7 business days
- North America: 5–12 business days
- Europe: 7–15 business days
- Asia / Oceania: 10–20 business days
These are estimates only. Wild Amazonas Chilies is not responsible for delays caused by:
- Customs controls
- Weather conditions
- Transport strikes or disruptions
- Airline cargo limitations
- Local delivery issues in the destination country
- Customs, Duties & Import Restrictions
The buyer is responsible for:
- Understanding local import rules
- Ensuring chili products are allowed
- Paying import duties, taxes, and customs fees
If the shipment is rejected or destroyed by customs due to local regulations, no refunds can be issued (see Refund & Returns Policy).
- Shipping of Fresh Products
Fresh chilies require special handling.
We ship fresh products only when:
- Weather and logistics allow safe transport
- The carrier accepts perishable goods
- The buyer agrees to the risk of perishability in transit
Fresh shipments are packed to preserve quality but may still be affected by:
- Temperature swings
- Delays
- Customs inspections
Wild Amazonas Chilies is not responsible for spoilage caused by customs delays or extended transit times.
- Tracking Information
Once the order is shipped, buyers will receive:
- Tracking number
- Courier name
- Estimated delivery date
Tracking updates depend on the carrier and may not always appear in real time.
- Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Shipments
If your shipment arrives damaged, missing items, or not in expected condition, you must report it within 3 days with photos and details.
For lost parcels:
- We will open an investigation with the courier
- Resolution times depend entirely on the carrier
- Compensation will follow the courier’s policies
Wild Amazonas Chilies is not liable for delays caused by:
- Customs inspections
- Incorrect delivery addresses provided by the buyer
- Local holidays or political disruptions
- Force majeure events
- Changes to Shipping Address
Shipping addresses can be changed before the order is dispatched.
After shipping, address changes are not guaranteed and depend on the carrier’s ability to reroute the package.
